Zoe Martin

Year: 2022
Award: Field Hockey
Location/Affiliation: Colorado Academy

  • First team All-State
  • Led State in goals scored and points
  • 5A Lacrosse Player of the Year

A student-athlete who has accomplished so much in a short high school career offers a variety of opportunities to honor her. For 2022, we locked in on the success impact that Zoe Martin provided for her Colorado Academy field hockey team.

In the semifinals, Martin scored in the 4th quarter of a tense victory over Arapahoe, and then she scored the game-winner in overtime to advance. The next evening, she scored the second goal in C.A.’s 2-0 championship victory over defending champ, Regis. In Fall ’22, as a sophomore, Zoe led the state in goals scored and total points and was named First Team All-State.

The lacrosse community is very aware of her as well. She was named Class 5A Player of the Year for Spring 2022, helped C.A. win a 7th consecutive state championship, and was a leading scorer for Team Israel’s run to the final 8 at the World Championships this past July.

With so many reasons to applaud Zoe Martin from Colorado Academy, tonight we honor what she did and how she did it during the 2022 preps field hockey season.
