In 2020, Tarynn earned her second-straight U.S. Track, Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCA) All-America shot put honor. At the Mountain West Conference Championships, she threw a powerful shot put of 55 feet 6.5 inches leading her to the top of the standings and the conference title. This was her second straight year winning the event.

She also won the weight throw, recording a sweep of her two throwing events at the same championship meet. Tarynn is only the third individual to sweep both the shot put and weight throw events in conference history.  She set a new personal best in weight throw at 64 feet 7.75 inches. This places Tarynn sixth in CSU history.

Tarynn Sieg’s outstanding individual performance at the conference meet also helped the Rams team score big. She contributed 20 points to the overall team points, which led CSU to a third place finish.
