University of Northern Colorado volleyball player Sydney Cole has officially run out of room on her trophy shelf. The extraordinary Bears setter left UNC as one of the most prolific players in history. In the Fall, she orchestrated the Bears to a historic 28-8 season that ended in the semifinals of the National Invitational Volleyball Tournament while Sydney earned honorable mention All-American honors for the second time in her career. Throughout her career, she set records and earned multiple Big Sky Conference MVP awards and Setter of the Year accolades.
In 2024, the Parker Colorado native ranked second in the nation in total assists with 1,427 and the graduate student was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-American team for the second time, graduating with a 4.0 GPA.
We are excited that Sydney Cole gets to add one more award to her shelf with the Career Achievement Award.
