Job Type: Internship
Job Duration: Summer (May-August) Earlier start date is possible
Job Location: Remote work with occasional in-person meetings in the Denver Metro area.
Internship Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Summer Sports Camp Intern to provide business administrative support. The successful candidate will assist in coordinating the daily operations of our sport camp scholarship program, including but not limited to: customer service, marketing, data collecting, data management
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing customer inquiries and registrations
- Provide support in marketing efforts, including social media management and email marketing campaigns
- Help to manage and track finances, including invoicing and accounts receivable
- Work closely with the Camp Directors at a variety of organizations and other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the scholarship process
- Provide excellent customer service to campers and their families
- Drive to select camps to gather pictures and interviews for marketing purposes
- Present a post-camp presentation and summary to the Board of Directors
- Provide support to other staff members as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old and currently enrolled in a college or university program, preferably majoring in Business.
- The ability to embody Sportswomen of Colorado’s mission.
- Must own a personal laptop computer.
- Ability to commit to the entire internship period as will be discussed in the interview process.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Experience with social media management and email marketing campaigns is a plus.
- Knowledge of and interest in sports and youth development is preferred.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Hours and Terms
- This is a part-time summer internship with flexible scheduling.
- Must be available to work 15 hours per week from May 1-August 31.
- This is an unpaid internship but upon completion of the term and duties, there is the option to provide a small stipend of $1,000 or less.
