Everything Fort Collins resident Sahvanna Jaquish touches turns to gold. Known for her hitting and catching abilities, the former collegiate All-American catcher spent last summer just winning. She was a member of Team USA where she helped lead the squad to an impressive gold medal victory in the World Games in Italy and then followed it up by winning Gold in the Pan Am Games in Santiago, Chile. During the World Cup event, she went an impressive 5-11 at the plate… And in those 11 at bats, she hit a double, had 5 RBI’s and scored 4 times. Now that, is production! Then, in the fall, Sahvanna was a member of the Texas Smoke which won the inaugural Women’s Fast Pitch Professional Championship. She is currently a member of the USA National Team and it’s because of her gold medal play last year that she is the professional softball honoree.
