Colorado University Buffalo Sage Hurta knew how to end her collegiate career in 2021. Hurta became the program record holder for the indoor and outdoor 800 meter. In the PAC-12 championships, Hurta won the 800-meter. PAC-12 would co-name Hurta as Woman of the Year. On the national stage, Hurta claimed first in the indoor mile at the NCAA Championships and runner-up in the 1,500-meter.
