Metropolitan State University of Denver shined this past season and one player shined even brighter, Rylee Hladky. Hladky led the conference in points (513), points per set (4.3), kills (421), and serve aces (53). These statistics made it easy for Hladky to be named Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Player of the Year. Hladky was also chosen by the AVCA and the D2CCA as the Division II All-American first team. At the RMAC postseason tournament, Hladky would possess the highest GPA among all players and would be named CoSIDA Academic All-America First-team Division II.
