Olivia Cummins had a plan. The Colorado Mesa University cyclist was looking ahead to 2028 for her Olympic debut. Paris? Not even on the radar. But then… she kept winning. Fast forward to 2024. After tearing it up on both the collegiate and pro circuits, Olivia earned an invite to Team USA’s select ion camp. And guess what? She didn’t just show up, she made the roster. At just 21 years old, she became the youngest member of the U.S. cycling team in Team Pursuit. Before all that? She was leading CMU’s powerhouse cycling program. At USA Cycling Track Nationals, she won Team Pursuit gold, the Individual Pursuit title. And if you’re counting—she also grabbed a silver in the points race, a bronze in the scratch and sprint races, leading the Mavericks to a third-place team finish.
