Several Colorado women’s soccer players have enjoyed the national and international stage. Enter Rock Canyon High School senior Nicki Fraser as the next Colorado women’s soccer sensation who is the number 12th ranked recruit in the nation.  The 5 foot 10 inch left foot-dominated defender played for the U.S. Youth Women’s National Team in the FIFA (Fee-fuh) Under-17 World Cup in India. Shortly after her 18th birthday she was named to the U.S. U-20 Women’s National Team. Daughter of legendary soccer player and Colorado Rapids coach, Robin Fraser, Nicki trained individually or with her Dad after Rapids practices to prepare for the U-17 World Cup. Nicki is only the second daughter of a male or female U.S. National Team player to earn a cap at any level of the U.S. Women’s National Teams program. Last season, she led Rock Canyon to a second place finish in class 5A and has committed to UCLA. We are proud to honor Nicki Fraser as our high school athlete of the year.
