Miranda Stinson ranks as one of the top lacrosse players ever at the University of Colorado Boulder (CU). And, 2019 added to her legacy.
Coming in, she was already regarded among the Buffs elite. Then, the results, and the honors, came rolling in. For the season, Miranda led the team with 80 points and 64 assists which ranks second all-time in the CU single season record book. She was named the PAC-12 Offensive Player of the Week three times and was a Top 25 finalist for the prestigious Tewaarton Award, the college lacrosse equivalent to the Heisman Trophy.
It’s hard to imagine there was any post-season award Miranda Stinson didn’t win. She was named PAC-12 Attacker of the Year after earning a spot on the All-PAC-12 First-Team. She was selected for the PAC-12 All-Tournament Team and the Senior All-Star Team, as well as being named All-West/Midwest Region First-Team. Phew! Those are a lot of accolades.
