Our 2025 High School Swimmer of the Year has defined excellence in every lane, building a résumé that is nothing short of historic. Madison Mintenko, the top-ranked recruit in the Class of 2025, went undefeated in individual events at the State Championships, capturing her fourth consecutive state titles in both the 200 and 500 freestyle and becoming just the third girl in state history to accomplish that feat across an entire career. This past season, she didn’t just chase history, she rewrote it, shattering five-time Olympic gold medalist Missy Franklin’s state record in the 500 freestyle. An international medalist and national standout, Madison has already cracked multiple top-10 times as a freshman at the University of Virginia while setting her sights on the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
