Lindsey Horan

Year: 2021

Award: Professional Athlete of the Year

Affiliation: Colorado Spring, Colorado

One of the bigger names coming out from Colorado is Lindsey Horan. An all-star athlete coming from the Colorado Rush club team, Horan has travelled a long way, figuratively and literally. Horan took to the international stage as part of the US U-17 team and later called up to the main team. In July 2021, Horan played her 100th game with the USWNT in the Tokyo Olympics. At the Olympics, Horan and her team took home the bronze medal. In her professional career, Horan has a total of 108 caps, 25 goals, and 33 assists. When Horan is not playing for the USWNT, she is filling her role as one of Portland Thorns star players.
