We all love a good comeback story, and Kindyll Wetta definitely has an incredible one to tell. Kindyll’s no stranger to overcoming adversity and her perseverance helped her to overcome not one, but two back-to-back ACL tears in her freshman and sophomore years at Valor Christian High School in Highlands Ranch.

After recovering from her injuries, Kindyll earned First-Team All-Jeffco League honors, made Second-Team All-State, and was named Player of the Game at the “She Got Game” Classic in Dallas, Texas.

Kindyll averaged 13.2 points per game, 4.9 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4.3 steals. Her impressive play helped her to lead Valor to the Final Four at the state tournament, before COVID-19 shut everything down. Kindyll Wetta is listed 83rd on the ESPN high school basketball recruiting rankings and has already committed to become a Buff at the University of Colorado Boulder.
