  • RMAC Softball Player of the Year

The Colorado Christian Cougars knew they had a complete player when Kenzie Middleton joined the team two years ago. They just didn’t know how complete. The Golden, Colo. native has taken the RMAC and Division II by storm with her explosive bat. She now has the career home run record at CCU with 40…and she still has another year to play!  Last season, she hit a blistering .401, good for tops in the conference. She led NCAA Division II with 170 total bases. And Kenzie ranked sixth in the country with 89 hits including 21 doubles and 16 home runs on the season.  After the Cougars repeated as RMAC Tournament champions and made their second consecutive Division II NCAA Tournament appearance, the junior outfield/catcher was named RMAC Softball Player of the Year and first-team all-conference, and first-team all-American by multiple polls. We hit one out of the park when Kenzie Middleton was named as the college softball player of the year.
