One reason why Colorado Academy Girl’s Lacrosse is a six-time consecutive state championship is because of stellar players like Jessie Bakes. Bakes led her team with 135 goals and 47 assists. Bakes was named 2021 5A Girls Lacrosse Player of the Year. Also earned First-team All-American and Academic All- American honors. Bakes was also featured in USA Lacrosse Magazine as a high school player of the week.
