The Cycling Velodrome at the Paris Olympics was buzzing after the women’s “Team Pursuit”. “Team USA” had just won its first Olympic gold medal in the event. With a Colorado rider leading the way Jennifer Valente.
Jennifer is considered “one of the best team pursuit starters in the world” and set an early world record pace in the gold-medal-winning race. But, that wasn’t all. Jennifer also successfully defended her Olympic gold in track cycling’s multi-event “omnium”. In her career, Jennifer is a five-time Olympic gold medalist.
