In the Colorado girls lacrosse state championships, junior Alivia Hunsche and senior Zoe Martin were named Sportswomen of Colorado’s Most Outstanding Players. In the 4A final, Hunsche led her team to a come from behind victory over Mead with three goals and one assist with a .600 shot percentage. Meanwhile, in the 5A championship, Martin’s scored five goals on only six shots and had one assist as Colorado Academy beat Fairview 15-3 for their ninth state championship in a row.  Other notable performances included Colorado Academy’s junior Addy Smith who had five assists and Evergreen junior Addison McEvers who also had three goals and a couple of late clutch plays! Ryn Gardner from Evergreen scored the game winning goal with no time left on the clock.
