Bring a Free Sports Clinic to Your School
Sportswomen of Colorado brings free sports clinics straight into Title I schools across the Denver metro area. College athletes and coaches teach the skills. Kids who might never get access to organized sports get a real introduction to one, taught by women who play at the college level.
Last season we reached 1,032 students across 8 Title I schools, working with teams from the University of Denver, MSU Denver, and Colorado Christian University. On average, 81% of the kids at our partner schools qualify for free or reduced lunch. We added two new sports to the rotation this year, and we’re 52 years into doing this work statewide.
