Hailey Schalk

Year: 2019
Award: Golf, High School
Location/Affiliation: Holy Family High School

  • 3-Time High School Golf State Champion
  • 3-Time CHSAA Golfer of the Year
  • 2019 Sportswomen of Colorado Hall of Fame Inductee

Hailey Schalk is a stand-out, record-setting golfer for Holy Family High school in Broomfield. In 2019, Hailey became only the third, 3-time, individual state high school champion in the history of Colorado prep golf—female or male! That’s amazing!

Hailey is also a 3-time Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) Player of the Year and Boulder County Preps Player of the Year. In 2019, on a cold, wet day at the end of May in Windsor, Hailey got into a golfing rhythm and never looked back as she won the 4A title while shooting a 72. If Hailey stays on course, she’ll get the chance to become the first to win four state girls high school state golf titles.

Then, it’s on to Boulder.

Hailey Schalk has committed to play golf for the University of Colorado Buffaloes beginning in fall 2020.

This is Hailey’s third Sportswomen of Colorado award in golf, which adds her to our Hall of Fame.
