One of the most decorated Paralympian in the country, Hailey Danz continues to train for the next competition. Danz was diagnosed with bone cancer at the age of 12 and would have her leg amputated two years later. Danz is categorized in Paralympic events as PTS2, a standing athlete with limb impairment. Danz’s visit to Tokyo this past Summer resulted in a silver medal. At the World Triathlon Para Championship, Danz won for the second time. Danz would achieve her third gold medal at the Americas Triathlon Para Championships. Other achievements under Danz name include seven-time ITU Paratriathlon World Championship medalist and a twelve-time ITU World Paratriathlon Even medalist.
