If you have paid ANY attention to the high school gymnastics world in the last three years, you know who Frankie Jo MacAskill is. This Mountain Range senior didn’t just raise the bar in Colorado high school gymnastics—she set an entirely new standard. At the CHSAA State Championships, she delivered a performance for the history books, becoming the first gymnast ever to score a perfect 10 in two individual finals at the same meet. A perfect 10 on floor. A perfect 10 on bars.
And if that wasn’t enough? She guided Mountain Range to back-to-back state titles in ‘23 and ‘24 and will leave behind an inspiring legacy of excellence. She’s a leader in every sense of the word. With her next chapter at Winona State ahead, the Colorado gymnastics community will remember Frankie’s energy and historic performances, earning her the title of our high school gymnastics honoree.
