3A State Champion and CHSAA Runner of the Year in Cross Country, Nike Track and Field All-American and elite three-sport competitor
Eaton High School junior Delaney Reuter realized during her sophomore year that she was “kind of good at cross country.” That was perhaps the understatement of the decade. As a freshman, she balanced both volleyball and cross country, winning four meets in her first season. But once she committed to running, she moved into another gear. Delaney has shattered six cross country course records and captured back-to-back 3A state championships. She tested herself against the nation’s best, finishing second at the Nike Cross Southwest Regional. Her dominance doesn’t stop in the fall. In the winter, she’s a three-year varsity starter in basketball, earning All-Honorable Mention All-State honors in each of the past two seasons. In the spring, she carried that momentum to the track, winning the 3A state title in the 1,600 meters and earning All-State First Team recognition. She later qualified for Nike Outdoor Nationals, placing third in the 5,000 meters and earning Nike All-American honors. Delaney Reuter is a true multisport standout!
