Carter Booth found a new home in the Big 10 in 2023 at the University of Wisconsin. The 6-foot-7 sophomore middle blocker who hails from Cherry Creek High School has emerged as one of the premier players at her position in the nation. She led the 3rd ranked Badgers to their 6th NCAA Division I National Semifinals. She was named a Third-Team All-American and rose to the top of the Big 10 conference in hitting percentage and blocks per set. Wisconsin Head Coach Kelly Sheffield sums up Carter’s heart of a champion with this, “She wants to be great. She doesn’t take a day off. She’s constantly in search of how to be better. You can just see that she is really driven to be very good.” Congratulations to Carter Booth, this year’s recipient for College Volleyball.
