Blink and you’ll miss her! Following her eight wins in 2022, Carol Whipple competed in eight Duathlon events in the Elite Team USA age group of 65-69 this past year and podiumed in all eight events. The cherry on top of those podiums were two National Duathlon Championship podium finishes, a silver medal in the Super Sprint and a gold medal in the Cross Duathlon.
Carol began her season with an age group win and a 2nd place overall masters at the challenging Xterra Arizona Duathlon. Carol wrapped up her racing season with a 10k road race age group win and was awarded All-American status for her time and distance. Carol is also proud to support a foundation for Collegiate Women in Triathlon to help with equipment and travel funding. That’s why she’s our winner in Duathlon, Masters, Carol Whipple.
