Fastest player in Colorado history to reach 2,000 career points
We couldn’t rewrite Brihanna’s bio enough times prior to our 52nd Awards Ceremony to accurately capture every milestone senior basketball player Brihanna Crittendon reached in 2025. The 6’3 dynamic swing player from Riverdale Ridge High School surpassed 2,000 career points faster than any athlete in Colorado high school history, female or male. On February 14, she broke the all-time Colorado state scoring record, again male or female, previously held by Tracy Hill with 2,935 points. It was a record that stood for 43 years. Brihanna is a five-star recruit, the No. 8 ranked player in the nation, and one of just seven Coloradans to be named a McDonald’s All-American. And if those milestones are not impressive enough, she carries a 4.1 GPA. We know this award recognizes her 2025 accomplishments, but it is also worth noting that she surpassed the 3,000-point mark this season. Brihanna will take her talents to the University of Texas next year, and we are proud to call her a Coloradoan Milestone Honoree.
