This annual celebration was established to recognize and honor outstanding women athletes and contributors to women’s athletics in the state of Colorado. In recent years, the banquet has attracted an audience of over 400 guests.
Sportswomen of Colorado will be honoring nearly 50 athletes at the 49th Annual Awards Celebration. These athletes will join 1,600 women who have been recognized since 1974.
Winners are selected by a local media panel from nominations received throughout the state. Three-time winners are inducted into the Sportswomen Hall of Fame. The evening culminates with the highly anticipated announcement of the Sportswoman of the Year Award.
