Ashten Prechtel, a Discovery Canyon High School alumnus, has made her mark with the Stanford University team. A major contributor to the 2020-21 National Championship run, Pretchel made some impressive stats. Prechtel averaged 14.1 minutes per game, 5.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.1 blocks. The result of this was Prechtel being named PAC-12’s “Sixth Player of the Year” in 2020. As for other tournaments, Prechtel was the NCAA champion and 2021 PAC-12 champion and tournament champion. Prechtel would also receive PAC-12 Academic Honor Roll.
