Valor. It’s in the name of Anna Hall’s Valor Christian High School in Highlands Ranch. It’s also a good word to describe the courage she displayed in her final prep track & field season.

Just five weeks before the state championships, Anna injured her ankle while she was training. Therapy included wearing a boot. The state meet seemed like a long shot. But, she remained focused and optimistic.

In the end, it all paid off. Anna was out of the boot and ready in time for state. She won the 100 and 300 meter hurdles, ran the anchor leg in the 4X400 relay to help Valor set a new state record, and led the Eagles to the 5A state team title.

On the national level, Anna Hall’s dominance is even greater. Combining her talents in the pentathlon and the heptathlon, she smashed the national high school records in both. She’s a back-to-back heptathlon U-20 national champion and turned heads at the 2019 USA Track & Field Indoor Championships when she competed in the pentathlon’s senior division and finished third overall against the best in the country.
