When you list big hitters in college volleyball, one name stands above the rest, six foot three inch, Brighton native, Andi Jackson. Dominating at the net and rewriting the record books, Andi, a junior at the University of Nebraska is one of college volleyball’s brightest stars. This season, Andi led the entire nation in hitting percentage with an astounding .467. She also set a new conference record during Big Ten games hitting at a .559 clip. Averaging 2.74 kills per set, she earned First Team All-America honors for the second straight year and was named to the All Big Ten Conference First Team. Andi was an offensive force and defensive wall which is why she was also a National Player of the Year Semifinalist and has earned All Region honors for three consecutive seasons. For the second straight year, Sportswomen of Colorado honors Andi Jackson.
