Abby Nichols has done amazing things while competing for the Buffaloes. Nichols led the Buffs in four of five varsity races, where she won two. In October 2021, Nichols won the NCAA Pre-National Invitation followed up by a first-place win at the PAC-12 Championship. After her win at the PAC-12 championship, Nichols was named Athlete of the Year, PAC-12 First-team, and All-region honoree. Nichols’s NCAA tournament participations yielded a 3rd place at regionals and an 8th place at the championships. The United States Track and Field CCCA also named Nichols as their Athlete of the Week.
